About Yvonne Fernando

Yvonne Fernando discovered her passion for cooking at the age of 12. She was trained at Clermont Hotel School in Sri Lanka, where she studied home and advance cookery. After three years at Clermont she went on to do a course in the art of cake making and decorating.

In the last four decades Yvonne has conducted numerous cookery  classes and demonstrations, both in Sri Lanka and internationally, and held two culinary exhibitions. She now hosts a popular cookery program on worldwide network television.

Yvonne also enjoys travelling  around the world sampling different cuisines and experiencing other cultures.
